Frequently Asked Questions
What is Psychedelic Radical?
Psychedelic Radical is a supportive, trauma-informed space for people exploring non-ordinary states of consciousness i.e breathwork, meaningful life experiences, or psychedelics in legal/medically-supervised contexts.
This practice offers preparation and integration coaching, Neurodynamic Breathwork, resourcing, and education to help you make sense of what you’re experiencing and translate insights into grounded, everyday life.
Is this therapy or clinical treatment?
No. Psychedelic Radical is not psychotherapy, not medical care, and not crisis support. It’s a coaching and education-based companioning practice, focused on reflection, resourcing, nervous system awareness, and integration.
Many people choose to work with a licensed therapist or medical provider alongside this support, and I’m happy to encourage that when it’s helpful.
If you’re in immediate danger or crisis, please contact local emergency services. In the U.S., you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
What are “non-ordinary states of consciousness”?
Non-ordinary states are experiences that feel different from everyday waking awareness—sometimes expansive, emotional, symbolic, or deeply embodied. People may encounter them through psychedelics, breathwork, meditation, ritual, grief, peak experiences, or major life transitions.
These experiences can be beautiful and meaningful—and also confusing or intense. Integration support can help you stay grounded, supported, and oriented to your values.
What kind of psychedelic experiences do you support?
I offer preparation and integration support for a range of experiences, including:
Cannabis-assisted experiences
Ketamine sessions (medical or clinically supervised settings)
Psilocybin
MDMA
Other non-ordinary states (including breathwork-induced expanded states)
I do not provide, administer, or source substances, and I do not offer guidance that replaces medical or clinical oversight.
What is Neurodynamic Breathwork?
Neurodynamic Breathwork is a guided practice that uses conscious breathing, music, and a supportive container to explore inner experience—without substances. People often use breathwork to support emotional release, nervous system regulation, clarity, creativity, and reconnection with self.
Every session is paced with consent and care. You’re always in choice.
Do I need to have had a psychedelic experience to work with you?
Not at all. Many clients come for integration support, breathwork, and/or to explore inner healing. This space is open to anyone curious about trauma-informed integration, slowing down, or reclaiming their relationship with self.
Is this religious or affiliated with a specific belief system?
No. This work is non-dogmatic and not tied to any religion or hierarchy. You don’t need to believe anything in particular. All worldviews are welcome, as long as we share mutual respect, consent, and care.
Who is this for?
This space may be a good fit if you are:
Curious about psychedelics or non-ordinary states (now or someday)
Integrating a meaningful, confusing, intense, or beautiful experience
A dreamer, creator, sensitive system, or deep feeler seeking grounded support
Wanting trauma-informed pacing, consent-based work, and practical integration
Looking for a companioning space alongside therapy, community, or spiritual practice
What does a consultation or session look like?
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach. We start with a free 20-minute consultation to connect, clarify what you’re looking for, and see if this feels aligned.
If we choose to work together, sessions are collaborative and paced to your needs. Depending on your goals, we may include:
Clarifying intentions and what “support” would look like for you
Grounding tools and resourcing (nervous system support, boundaries, aftercare)
Education about integration, set/setting, and common themes in non-ordinary states
Meaning-making (story, symbolism, emotions, body signals, values)
Gentle integration planning (daily life practices, relationships, creativity, next steps)
Ongoing, layered consent and choice throughout
You won’t be pushed to share, relive, or “process” more than you want to. This is a space for safety, curiosity, and honest pacing.
